He married Sarah Willis in Wight
County, Virgina. She died in 1790.

He married, two more times after
the death of Sarah Willis, but their names are unknown at this time.

Benjamin (III) lived near the
Cape Fear River alongside his brother Daniel and ran two mills, a saw and
grist mill, and a lodge, Willis Landing and Lodge, with his wife Sarah. The
Willis Creek ran into the Cape Fear River at the landing where supplies were
shipped upriver from Wilmington.
